How to host a quiz night with friends

You don’t need a quizmaster, paper or pens to host a movie and TV quiz night. With Quiz Night it takes five minutes: everyone answers on their own phone and scores are counted automatically.

Start a quiz night

Step by step

  1. Pick the packs. Choose 2–4 shows or film series your group watches most. Mixing packs means everyone knows something.
  2. Choose a game mode. Use "Same room" if everyone is together, "Remote" if you are apart, or "Teams" for one shared screen.
  3. Set questions and time. 20 questions with 20 seconds each is a good first game; it takes about 15 minutes.
  4. Set the difficulty. Mixed difficulty is the most fun for most groups. Pick "Expert" for big fans.
  5. Share the room code. Send the room code or link to the group; everyone joins from their phone.
  6. Play and check the results. After the game, a detailed report shows who got which question right.
